@ the Roma Church of Christ we desire to be a people who both reflect and represent Jesus in our community. We are also a people who come from all walks of life but are united in the cause of Jesus. Our gatherings usually run for 60-70 minutes, and there's a cuppa and light refreshments afterwards, which is a great opportunity to get to know others and build friendships. The atmosphere is casual a
nd friendly. We’re not formal - in fact it's fairly "laid-back". People come dressed in everyday gear - neat and relaxed. There's a good cross section of people of all ages and backgrounds. Music is contemporary and led by a small band of musicians. We want to experience God, and be renewed in His presence. Our desire is that people encounter God at our gatherings through our time of worship, hearing His word and being encouraged in our fellowship. And as a result we want to become more like Jesus, and see our families and communities transformed through the love and power of God. So there is challenge, but no hype or pressure. We want to respect people and their choices, and allow them the freedom to be real and genuine. We want people to be released to belong, to believe, and to become all God wants them to be by His grace: to experience Kingdom living.
