Thank you to everyone who served either front of house, on the camera, on the doors, bringing notices or behind the scenes to make sure the fathers in our house were celebrated and loved.

A special Happy Father’s Day to every dad, you have the most pinnacle role. You are the greatest voice, the living example of what Christ looks like, the best advocate, the peace maker, validator, protector in your home.

To every dad, keep showing up, keep pushing forward and never give up. We see you, we value you and we honour you.

What a beautiful Sunday spent out in the park, outside the four walls, surrounded by our church whānau. ☀️🤍

Today’s word was about being planted — planted in the right house, surrounded by the right people, and rooted where God has called us to grow. Brought to us by our young warrior for Christ Alec Paenga.

When we are planted, we don’t just attend — we become part of something. We grow, we build, we serve, and we flourish together.

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” — Psalm 92:13

Church isn’t just a building. Today was a beautiful reminder that we are the Church wherever we gather. 🌿

Grateful for good weather, good kōrero, plenty of laughs, and another beautiful day together as family. ❤️

Just a reminder that there will be no service held at the Gary Holland Community Centre this Sunday.

We are heading to the park and getting out into the community! So put the invite out to those you know, it’s going to be a powerful day!

Let’s come expectant, still showing up on time, bring a chair or something to sit on.

‘We don’t gather in the name of Destiny. We don’t gather in the name of Samuel. Or in the name of whoever is up here every Sunday. We come together every Sunday to gather in the name of Jesus.’ - Pastor Samuel Tamaki 🎤

Just another one of Pastor Sam’s gems dropped on Sunday 💎 - hitting those sweet spots and challenging us to dig a little deeper into our own personal relationship with Christ. 🙏🏽❤️

Here’s a question.

Do you ever get curious about the people you see gathering together every Sunday, in the photos that we share from week to week?

About their story? About where they come from? About what God has brought them through?

Are their hands raised because life is good?
Or because life has been incredibly challenging lately? Are they celebrating a breakthrough, surrendering a battle, asking for strength, or holding onto the last bit of hope they have?

That’s the beautiful thing about worship.

Its not about how we look in a room.
Its not about who is standing beside us.
Its not about a building and how many people are in it.

Worship is personal. We see people with their eyes closed and hands raised up. God sees the story behind it. ❤️

Behind every raised hand…is a person.
Behind every closed eye…is a story.
Behind every voice singing His name, is a life that God sees completely.

We might never know what brought each person into that room.

But Jesus does.

And whatever our stories may be, for that moment, we gather every Sunday and stand together — not in the name of a church, not in the name of a person speaking from the podium. But in the name above every other name - the only name that truly counts 🤍✨

And Man, what a Powerful Word it was, with our Mighty Pastor Samuel Tamaki dropping those truth bombs one after the other after the other. Reminding us exactly WHO we are and WHO we belong to. And reaffirming that we are not defined by our past, by people’s opinions, or by the labels the world has placed on us.

Our Identity is found in HIM. 🙏🏽🔥

‘I am His Child.
I am His Heir.
I belong to His Family
And He is shaping me to be more like Christ.’

A powerful way to rejuvenate the Spirit and fill the tank again! 🤍🙏🔥
