Heavenly Father, Sometimes the expectations and responsibilities of this world blind us to Your words and Your way. Thank You for opening our eyes to the value and importance of our spiritual family relationships. Help us to focus our attention on Your will and to trust You to provide all that we need as we do so... In Jesus’ name, amen.

Growing your Church Part One

Starting today we are looking at a new way of getting into God's Word. Our Church has partnered with YouVersion, which is an app that has been made so that people access the bible in many different ways. Different Bible plans, Bible themes with plans at various lengths. The Rocky Wesleyan Church now has a page with YouVersion.

To join our church page, scan the qr code or click on this link https://www.bible.com/organizations/69420288-d8a4-44ea-8359-9643beb09423. If you already have an account you will be asked to make this your Church, if you don't have an account you will need to sign up and follow the instructions.

The church will have a plan featured that you can access to do with others across the church and you can also explore other bible reading plans and devotionals.

Over the next 4 weeks we are going to be reading through a plan called Growing your Church in 4 separate parts. Part 1 begins this week.

This Sunday we say Happy Birthday to the Church as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday. remembering when the Holy Spirit came upon the church to empower, guide, restore, heal and transform. The work the Holy Spirit began and continues to this day continues to be an immense blessing. With Pentecost our sermon focus continues with our God Questions - Do you believe that I can? This is a question that Jesus asked but it goes beyond a specific circumstance and becomes a question for us to day Do believe that He can work in all areas of our life. Hope to see you there on Sunday as we celebrate, worship and are challenged together.
