If you feel ashamed, unworthy, or guilty, and believe you are undeserving of Godโs forgiveness, we can offer some encouragement today through Godโs word concerning His grace, love, mercy and compassion.
Some of His prerequisites for those who wish to serve Him are entirely contrary to the worldโs requirements, which include.
1) A person with a broken spirit and a contrite heart. Psalm 51:17.
2) An individual who walks justly, loves mercy, and walks humbly before God. Micah 6:8.
3) The unskilled, the weak, the insignificant, and the despised. 1 Corinthians 1:26-29.
4) Those who strive to live a life of righteousness, holiness, love, and peace. Hebrews 12:12-14; Matthew 6:33; Proverbs 21:21; 1 Corinthians 13:13.
The Apostle Paul was known as Saul before he met Jesus.
He was a highly educated intellectual man who studied in Jerusalem under the renowned Jewish scholar Gamaliel (Acts 22:3-4). Paul was a devout religious Pharisee who regarded Christians as heretics, fiercely seeking their destruction whenever possible and even consenting to their ex*****on. His encounter with Christ Jesus on the road to Damascus, as recounted in (Acts 9), led to his true repentance and a complete reversal of his beliefs.
Paul declared in 1 Timothy 1:14-16 that the Lordโs grace, love, and faith are exceedingly abundant. Acknowledging himself as the foremost of sinners, he nevertheless became arguably the greatest missionary and church planter in the Mediterranean regions, including Corinth, Thessalonica, and Ephesus.
He is also credited with writing or dictating at least 7 of the 27 books of the New Testament through divine inspiration.
2 Timothy 3:16-17.
Yes God is not just interested in talented people, but more so in trustworthy vessels to carry His almighty power and glory. Amen.
