Day 11 – 04/03/2026 (Wednesday) | Thirukalyanam

As our Thiruvizha comes to its sacred completion, we are blessed to witness the divine Murugan Thirukalyanam — the holy celestial wedding of Lord Murugan.

Thirukalyanam is not just a ritual, but a powerful symbol of self-conquest, inner peace, and spiritual victory. It represents the beautiful balance of masculine and feminine energies — Murugan embodying wisdom and strength, and Deivanai & Valli embodying devotion and love. Their divine union brings harmony, prosperity, and completeness into our lives.

This sacred reenactment is one of the most joyous and significant moments of the festival. Witnessing it is believed to remove obstacles, bless families with unity, and shower grace upon all.

Let us gather with devotion to receive His blessings and conclude our Thiruvizha with gratitude and joy.

🕉 Event Schedule:
• 10:30 AM – Kumba Pooja & Abishekam, Special Pooja
• 5:30 PM – Nithiya (Daily) Pooja
• 6:00 PM – Thirukalyanam (Celestial Wedding), Swami Procession
• Followed by Annadhanam

Dear Devotees,

*On 3 March 2026 we will experience Total Lunar Eclipse in Melbourne.*

According to Hindu Traditions, Temples should be closed well ahead of a Lunar Eclipse so that devotees can head home before the commencement of the Lunar Eclipse.
Taking the above into consideration, *we have changed our Temple Opening Hours and Timing of our Thiruvilaza (Annual Festival) on 3 March 2026.* We have amended details (Timing) of our Thiruvilaza – Annual Festival as attached.

We have also attached an amended version of the Thiruvilaza (Annual Festival) Notice for your reference.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
