Today we honour and celebrate all the fathers and father figures who love, guide, protect and encourage their families.

But above all, we give thanks to our Heavenly Father. 🙏

Thank You, Father, for loving us unconditionally and for giving us Your one and only Son, Jesus Christ, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Across Australia, churchgoers are being encouraged to take part in the National Church Life Survey (NCLS).

Every four years, the NCLS gathers vital information that helps us understand what is happening in our churches and gain insight into what God is doing across Australia.

Holy Spirit Empowerment is one of A2A Aspiration’s values.

As a movement of churches, our heart is to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, relying not on our own strength, but on His power. We don’t want to build in our own strength.

We want to depend on the Holy Spirit, be led by Him, and see His power at work through His Church.

“Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the LORD Almighty. ~ Zechariah 4:6

Church, Jesus is asking us to pray.

To pray to the Lord of the harvest to raise up and send more workers into His harvest field.

The need is great. The harvest is plentiful. And the call is clear.

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37–38

Let’s pray for workers. Let’s raise up leaders. Let’s go into the harvest.

What if the next church planter is already sitting in your church?

Tim O’Neill is A2A’s National Leader and Executive Director of Exponential Australia. As an entrepreneur, business leader, and someone with an extraordinary apostolic gift, Tim has a particular passion for seeing entrepreneurial leaders released to pursue God’s mission.

In a recent article through Exponential, Tim challenges church leaders to not only look for spiritual entrepreneurs in our communities, but to encourage and empower them.

As Tim writes:

“Entrepreneurs are rarely energised by simply copying what already exists. They love the mission more than the method. They innovate, create and find pathways where others see barriers.”

What might happen if we intentionally recognised these gifts and invited people to become spiritual entrepreneurs, perhaps even pioneering new churches or faith communities?

A2A is a relational network of churches united by a common call to multiply disciples, leaders, and churches.

We are churches from across the nation; different sizes, different expressions, and different contexts, seeking to faithfully reach the communities God has called us to.

At the heart of A2A is community and relationship.

Our pastors are part of cohorts where they do life together, support one another, champion each other, and encourage one another to become faithful disciple-makers.

Church leadership can be challenging, but we were never meant to do it alone.

Last week was an incredible week of input, from the Exponential Conference to the A2A National Conference.

We heard from some extraordinary speakers who challenged and encouraged us to become Multipliers.

In Multiplier, Dave Ferguson describes a multiplier as “a healthy disciple-making leader who champions reproduction.”

It’s a powerful reminder that leadership isn’t just about what we can accomplish ourselves; it’s about reproducing who we are and what we do in others, creating a lasting impact.

The question is: Who are you multiplying?
