Thanks Unreached Peoples - Joshua Project for sharing these insights on how the consumer culture many of us come from affects how we do missions. We have experienced these things and some of them we discuss and plan an offensive for in the Pre-Field training our missionaries are required to attend. Others we will consider how to engage with.

Happy 20th Anniversary to Hope House Organization! This ministry in rural Cambodia was founded by former OMS Australia directors Billy & Jeanne Campbell. Many of you have continued supporting Hope House and the Campbells in their work throughout Asia.

We are so pleased that our director, Ian, his wife Josie (our bookkeeper), and several other Hope House supporters & advocates from Melbourne were able to join the celebration in Kampong Speu.

Congratulations to our Khmer brothers and sisters for these 20 years of faithfulness to God's heart for children and those in need. 👏🏼

Congratulations Barthez & Vivian for beginning their journey to Japan after three years of preparation! Thank you to all their prayer and financial supporters.🙏🏻

We are excited for this dedicated and caring couple to join the OMS Japan team to build meaningful relationships that will introduce the hope of Jesus to more people.

Late last month OMS President Jeff Edwards and his wife Laura*, who serves in Member Care, visited us in Melbourne for an OMS Australia board meeting followed by a meet-and-greet with the Aussie missionaries in town.

We always enjoy seeing them in the southern hemisphere. Thanks for making the trip Jeff & Laura!

We are excited about these six OMS Australia & New Zealand missionaries completing Pre-Field Training last month!

The name doesn't give away everything we learn about & discuss: cultural values, culture types, spiritual reality, emergency policies & procedures, OMS history, culture shock vs. stress, personal & professional growth, and much more.

Pray for (L to R) Barthez & Vivian as they head to Japan, Imogen preparing for further service in the Asia-Pacific region, Spenser & Karen continuing itinerate ministry in Sri Lanka, and Tiana continuing service in Japan.

It was particularly wonderful to have Imogen join us from One Mission Society New Zealand as it furthers our collaboration with our Kiwi counterparts. 🤝🏻

🥳Congratulations to Diamond Htoo for his departure two weeks ago! Diamond has been working toward serving God in Spain for a few years and we are proud of his dedication and obedience.

THANK YOU to everyone who is part of Diamond's support team, both financially and through prayer.

Ian, our executive director, recently returned from a week in South Korea with OMS Asia-Pacific leaders & coworkers in his capacity as assistant regional director. He also met with Johnny Song, the incoming executive director of OMS South Korea. It was a productive time of working out future OMS plans in the area and collaborating on some challenges.

Just over a week ago our missionaries Karen & Spenser headed off for a mission trip to Sri Lanka. Pray for them as they strengthen connections and build new ones that intentionally create more disciples of Jesus Christ. 🙏
