Easter is a time of sombre reflection and joyous celebration as we remember the price that was paid for our sins and Christ's victory over sin and death.

This Easter, you're invited to any of the services throughout the Parish to learn more about the sorrow and joy of this momentous time in history and how it still changes lives 2000 years later.

'The Story of Rest'

Should Christians keep the Sabbath?
Why do we find rest difficult?
Do I have to rest if I really enjoy my work?
Why were Israel stupid stupidheads sometimes?

Listen to yesterday's sermon which helps us to answer all of those questions above, as we explore the history of rest, and how Jesus' life, death, and resurrection changes our approach to rest.

Do you find it difficult to 'switch off' from work?
Do you wish there were more hours in the day?
Is the idea of 'rest' nothing but a dream for you?

Jesus has this to say to you:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Matthew 11:28-30

This week we begin our Summer series, 'Embracing Our Limits'. Our hope is to relocate the rhythms of rest that God put in place right from creation that often get lost in the busyness of our lives. This Sunday Dave Horne will be preaching about how we are 'Limited by Design'. Come along to our service at St. George's, Sorell, @ 10am!

Oh g'day!
Are you planning on coming to one of the services below?
If so, here's some things to be mindful of when you attend:

1. All our services are BYO... masks.
2. You'll also need to check-in on arrival.
3. Oh, and it'd be great if you could use our hand sanitizer, we have plenty so go nuts.
4. We know singing + masks = foggy glasses, but please don't get around this by taking your mask off to sing, that's cheating. You might just have to .
5. We can't wait to see you and worship Jesus with you, so please don't let glasses fog stop you from experiencing the joy and wonder of reflecting on God's love for you through Jesus this Christmas.

Note: there won't be any services in our parish on Sunday, Dec 27. We'll be back to normal service times on January 2 (10am @ St. George's, Sorell).
