Can I ask you something?
When was the last time you walked into a room and felt like you genuinely, effortlessly belonged?

Most of us go through life connected digitally, yet completely disconnected in real life. We live in the same neighbourhoods, but we rarely build a real community.

The dynamic shift happens the moment you sit down with people who simply want to know you.

Whether you’ve been coming to St Mark’s for a few weeks, a few months, haven't yet been but are keen, or just feel 'new-ish'... this Sunday is designed specifically for you.

We’re hosting our New-Ish Morning Tea straight after 9:30am Morning Church. Zero pressure, zero expectations. Just brilliant food, great coffee and tea, and genuine conversation with people on the exact same journey.

As well as the chance to hear more about St Mark's, ask questions, and discover ways to take part in the life of our church family.

Save the date, pull up a chair, and I’ll see you at the table!

We all carry a massive, paralysing secret:

We look at our friends, our family, our coworkers, and we convince ourselves that we have zero credibility to share the gospel with them. We know they see our faults, our anger, our lack of integrity, and our indiscretions. So, what do we do? We cut ourselves completely out of the process.

We tell ourselves we are too flawed to speak for the King. But we are looking at the entirely wrong metric.

This Sunday, we are talking about the other donkey. We are looking past the donkey carrying Mary to Bethlehem, and focusing instead on a story from the book of Numbers. It reveals a brutal, beautiful truth. The quality of the message matters far more than the qualification of the messenger.

Scripture tells us that God is glorified when He pours His word out of cracked, earthy jars of clay. You can be an absolute mess and still bless someone, as long as the word of God is in your mouth.

Stop disqualifying yourself. If God can use a donkey, He can use you.

Step into the room this Sunday, and let's talk about it.

I realised something recently, and it’s been sitting with me.

Why do we wait until December...to find our way back to the things that actually matter?

We spend our entire year running. Chasing the next goal, answering the next email, trapped in the noise. And we promise ourselves, ‘I’ll slow down at Christmas. I’ll reconnect then.’

But here's the uncomfortable truth - connection isn't a seasonal event. It’s a human necessity.

This July, we’re breaking the script. We aren't waiting for the end of the year to find community. We’re bringing Christmas forward. A moment to stop running, hit pause, and just...come home.

Whether you’re looking for a fresh start, a bit of perspective, or just a room full of your people - you’re invited. St Mark’s Revesby. This Sunday for Christmas in July. Come to Morning Church at 9:30am, or Night Church at 5:30pm.

You don’t have to wait till December to find where you belong. I’ll see you here.

We’ve been sold a lie. We’re told life is a ladder, and if you just grind harder, climb faster, and look better doing it, you'll finally win.

But what if you get to the top of that ladder, and find it's leaning against the wrong wall?

Here is the truth about true peace. It isn't escaping to some quiet, sanitised life. It’s not the magical absence of trouble. Peace is discovering absolute clarity and unshakeable presence right in the middle of the mess. It’s the realisation that the ladder has already been taken down. Heaven came down to the dust.

Stop climbing. Start discovering.

This Sunday, we’re unpacking how to find that quiet strength. Step out of the noise, and I'll see you here.

Is God more inclusive than you think? 🤔

This brief visual summary of last Sunday's talk on HELL highlights some key ideas. While human systems of "goodness" always draw a line that leaves people out, God’s invitation is extended to the least likely people in the most unlikely places.
