一、上午法会
时间：上午10:30
内容：诵《观音菩萨普门品》，虔诚上供，礼赞观音菩萨，祈愿众生离苦得乐、所求如愿。

二、下午法会
时间：下午1:30
内容：举行清明节超荐法会，超度历代宗亲、冤亲债主，回向法界一切众生，同登净土。

On the 15th day of the 11th lunar month, we joyfully celebrate the Birthday of Amitābha Buddha, the guiding teacher of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Amitābha Buddha, known in Sanskrit as Amitābha, translates to “Infinite Light” and “Infinite Life.” With boundless compassion and wisdom, He leads all beings from suffering to happiness, guiding them toward rebirth in the Pure Land.

Shaolin Temple Australia has scheduled the following Dharma Service:

【 Compassion in Action | Shaolin Temple Australia Joins Strathfield Council Charity Event 】

On 21 November 2024, Shaolin Temple Australia was invited to participate in Strathfield Council’s charity event, Share the Dignity – “It’s in the Bag.” This initiative focused on donating handbags filled with essential items to support women in need, showcasing the power of community care and unity.

Strathfield Mayor Cr John-Paul Baladi expressed gratitude to all participants, calling the event a “celebration of compassion and solidarity.” Fire Rescue Chief Cheryl Steer and representatives from Burwood Police also shared messages of respect and support for women.

Venerable Yan Jing and lead volunteer Simon from Shaolin Temple Australia presented an awe-inspiring Shaolin Kungfu performance. Combining strength with mindfulness, their movements symbolised the harmony of compassion and wisdom, earning resounding applause and becoming a highlight of the event.

Venerable Yan Jing remarked, “Shaolin Temple Australia is committed to serving the community with compassion and wisdom. Through this performance, we are honoured to share the essence of Buddhism and Shaolin culture. May all participants feel warmth and love, and may acts of kindness continue to benefit those in need.”

The event concluded successfully, with Shaolin Temple Australia deeply honoured to stand alongside the community. Venerable Yan Jing affirmed the temple’s ongoing dedication to promoting Buddhist culture and compassion, working with all sectors to spread love and care, and creating a harmonious society.
