Ephpheta Centre for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people Ephpheta Centre is a non for profit centre for deaf and hard of hearing people in Sydney. We do many different things for the community. We are open to anyone.

We are a Catholic organisation and we also provide accessible Catholic Mass services. Welcome!

Last week, we shared the sad news of the passing of much loved Sr Margo Gibson.

We would like to let our deaf community know that the funeral service will be held on:

📅 Wednesday 10 June
🕚 11am
⛪️ Christ the King Catholic Church
380 Maitland Road,
Mayfield NSW

All are welcome to attend her funeral. This will be Auslan interpreted.

For those who are unable to attend in person, a live stream of the service will be available.

We look forward to coming together to celebrate Sr Margo’s wonderful life and share our memories.

A reminder we will have our regular Friday morning Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption - 74 Underwood Road, Homebush.

We will have Rosary in Auslan, Mass, lunch and prayer group. All are welcome to join us 🤗

To our community - we have some sad news to share.

Our dear friend Sr Margo Gibson passed away peacefully this morning.

Margo was a lifelong friend and fearless advocate for deaf and hard of hearing people.

Margo you will be missed. Thank you for your love and friendship. Rest in peace.

We will let you know funeral arrangements as soon as we can.
