We are everyday people from all walks of life, who are keen to discover what being a Christian is all about. We are located in Punchbowl, which is part of the Canterbury-Bankstown Council, one of the most diverse communities in Sydney. You may not find the best views in Sydney here but you will find some of the best food and the best people! Our name was inspired by 2 Cor 5:20 ‘We are therefore Ch
rist’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us’. We believe that, along with all Christians, we have been commissioned ‘to represent Jesus and make a difference in our homes, our church, our local community and the world’. Our congregation reflects the cultural diversity around us and is warm and accepting; we have a unique and vibrant style and an urban flavour! Our people comment that ‘they have found a home and a place of acceptance and belonging here’. We value all ages and encourage intergenerational connection. We are full of creativity, which is displayed throughout our venue and evident in our music and ministries. We believe that the message of the gospel is the hope of the world and not only relevant but vital to our community. More than ever before, people need to know that Jesus loves them and not only wants to heal and transform their lives but bring them into relationship with Himself.
