On Monday, I attended the NAYBA community audit at Cottage by the Sea. It was wonderful to see the cross-section of business, church, community, government, and charity leaders who attended, and the palpable sense of unity in the room.

Greetings from the APY Lands! As I write, I’m standing outside the Amata General Store, where we’ve set up our Bible table and have been chatting with members of the local community.

Please be praying for all those from both our church and The Wave who have just commenced their mission trip to the APY lands. Pray for safe travels and opportunities to share the Gospel.

Today we begin our journey towards the APY Lands. We've split into two teams—one led by Stu and the other by David Rock (Church by the Bay). During the tour, the teams may stay in different locations overnight as they visit communities across the region, with 20th, 23rd and 27th set aside as joint camp and debrief nights where everyone will come together. Our first overnight stop will be at Telowie Conservation Park before continuing on towards Marla, where we'll spend our second night. Please pray for safe travel, great team unity, and that God would prepare the way for the ministry ahead.

Yesterday we gathered to celebrate the life of Mavis Willey, who was 102 when she passed away. We often speak about someone living a "full life", but as we reflected on Mavis, those words took on a whole new meaning.

This week I was able to do something I've never done before—I had a work experience student with me, Lachie Duffield. It's been great having Lachie around and to see his passion for what God is doing in our region.
