To belong to Jesus is to know that we are loved, known, and claimed by the One who gave himself freely for us. Because life is no longer about us, we are free to lose ourselves in his self-giving love, no longer grasping at making our lives matter.

Our real worth and significance comes from being included in Christ's life and mission. Belonging to Christ frees us to press on, to be all that God has called us to be, which far exceeds anything we could become by this world's standards.
