What a wonderful teaching this morning!

Ps Michael Dumas shared a powerful message on the importance of trusting God through our trials and continuing to persevere in faithfulness.

“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What a wonderful time we had this morning!

Pastor Michael Dumas shared on the importance of guarding our hearts and minds, the difference between sin and temptation, and being cautious of the thoughts we allow to take root in our hearts.

We were also reminded to be mindful of the words we speak, because what is in our hearts will overflow through our mouths.

“For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”
— Matthew 12:34 (NKJV)

“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”
— Proverbs 4:23
