✝️ Prayers for Pastor Phil & Jenny as they step into their next chapter!

🌱⛪ You are invited to the installation of Pastor Phil Joppich as pastor of the recently formed Living Vine Lutheran Church.

🍇 Living Vine Lutheran Church was formed through the coming together of six southern Barossa congregations, united in faith and mission.

🙏 Please pray for Pastor Phil, his wife Jenny, and the Living Vine community as they begin this journey together.

Today in Lutheran Church History ANZ:

The Port Lincoln (SA) Our Saviour's Lutheran congregation was incorporated on 1 April 1960.

UELCA services at Port Lincoln began in 1931, but had ceased in 1950, to resume in 1957. The Our Saviour's congregation formalised in 1960 and their church was opened in 1965 (on April 4!). The church was chosen as the successor Lutheran Church of Australia church after union in 1966 when Our Saviour's and Trinity congregations amalgamated.

Our Saviour's church continues to be used today by the Port Lincoln Lutheran Church
