Need some information on the old fort in the big playground, anyone know when it was first built, have been told it was built low, then raised up high, had a slippery slide added, but later removed, had wire mesh added all around and a roof attached. Anyone have photos? TIA

There are many posts about, that people are upset that Anzac Day is cancelled and they are making poppies and have plans to celebrate this occasion. I totally admire and respect everything these comrades have done for us. But it makes me sad that Easter is only one day away and there are not many posts about that. Soldiers fought for our freedom, but remember JESES DIED ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS. Even though churches are closed during this time, there is still no excuse why we can’t spare a few minutes over these holidays to sit quietly and thank God for all the thinks we are grateful for and maybe even confess and say sorry for all the bad things we have done. Please remember that ‘JESUS IS THE REASON FOR OUR EASTER SEASON’. Love Leah Moore.

Parishioners of St Stephen's Catholic Church in Pittsworth are busy fund-raising to cover the costs of renovations to the 110 year old church.

REMINDER
EXTENDED TO END JULY
St Stephen’s Parish Pittsworth Renovation Appeal
The engraved pavers will be installed into the pathways upon entry of the grounds of the church to create a ‘Walk of History’. The profit from the engraved pavers will be used for the restoration of St Stephen’s Church Pittsworth.
If you have any queries regarding the project please contact Lloyd Cronin on 46931650.
There are forms available at the back of the church.
We’ve received about 70 paver application to date and we require 100 pavers to get free freight. Please get your forms in ASAP.
