Meet Karen Millican - our Ladies' Camp speaker this year. Karen Millican was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She first worked as a pediatric nurse and then earned her Masters of Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2017. There she discovered a desire to help women learn the Bible through teaching and curriculum writing. She came on staff at a church for nearly 5 years writing, developing resources, and teaching and supporting Women’s Bible Study. In addition, since earning her Masters, she has spent time writing and editing for various Christian parachurch ministries, as well as speaking at women’s events and conferences. Karen now lives in Toowoomba, Queensland with her husband, Peter, and their two sons, Jack and Andy.
