Leadership Commissioning 🔥
Tonight we commissioned the boys who are attending Leadership 2026 and marking the initiation of their individual journeys as leaders 🧭.

It provides boys the opportunity to feel supported by one another and have the confidence in Gods provision and their own abilities.

Duke of Edinburgh, practice adventurous journey completed. Over a 5 day expedition a total of 6 people participated in the Great Walk Cooloola 🌲. Starting Friday morning and finishing Tuesday afternoon the team completed a total of 78.76km of hiking 🥾 and gained a maximum elevation of 232m ⛰️.

The team got experience different types of environments from sandy beaches 🏖️ to mountains forests 🌳.

A big congratulations to the participants who were involved and a thankyou to the leaders who helped facilitate this kind of journey 🎉.

At Boys’ Brigade we believe boys thrive and grow through challenge, through tasks that test and moments that demand something deeper. This weekend was all that with boys paddling unfamiliar boats, straining against the tide and wind. To celebrating birthdays, cooking up feasts, catching fish and learning how to pivot to a better plan. With 12 boats and 22 participants from Kallangur & Caboolture they had this amazing opportunity to grow 💪 well done guys 😎
