Fr Louie has completed the TCS Sydney Marathon, one of the major marathons in the world! There were around 40,000 participants in this race.

According to him, it was a challenging course due to the many hills. But it was all worth it to support our brothers and sisters in Uganda and help provide educational opportunities for them.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support of this cause. Your generosity makes a difference! 🙏

For now, Fr Louie will take some time to rest and recover before getting back to training for the Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast in just two weeks!

Fr Louie will be racing at the following events -
Sydney Marathon 30th August and Ironman Sunshine Coast 13th September.
All funds raised will go to Uganda Kids. Information on how to donate is on the flyer below.

Brisbane is preparing to welcome a relic of St Carlo Acutis for a five-day pilgrimage, offering the faithful a special opportunity to honour the Church's first millennial saint.⛪🙏✝️

The relic is a portion of the saint’s pericardium, a sac that protects the heart. During the pilgrimage, visitors will be able to attend Mass, pray before the Blessed Sacrament in Eucharistic Adoration, pray the Rosary and hear from Monsignor Anthony Figueiredo from the Diocese of Assisi and official custodian of St Carlo’s relics. Today on the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, we extend a heartfelt congratulations and prayerful blessings to Fr Louie, on his 4th anniversary of his Priestly Ordination.
We thank God for the gift of his vocation and for his devoted service to our parish community. May the Holy Spirit guide him in his ministry. 🙏

Mass will be held at 5.30pm today at Our Lady of the Way, Petrie.
