ARISE Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group ARISE started in 2019 at Willetton Catholic Parish, Western Australia.

Its main function is to bring members to a deeper love, trust and surrender to God and have a intimate, close relationship with Jesus, our Lord and Master of their lives.

We celebrated ARISE's 5th anniversary but also a farewell to Fr Thai, who has been with Sts John & Paul Church for 15 yrs. We went out to Bentley Pines Training Restaurant for a 5 course meal with our priests, Fr Thai and Fr CJ, ministry members and members. Everyone had an enjoyable time. I still remember the moment I felt the call to start the prayer group which was after the Easter Vigil Mass in 2018. Praise and glory be to our God!

ARISE had an exciting day celebrating its 4th anniversary and Dan Hewitt's birthday. It was truly Spirit filled day with praise and worship, interactive presentation of "Holy is the Lord our God" by Fr Patrick Toohey on what it means to be holy as God is holy in the church! And of course, finishing with blessing of food and fellowship in the parish hall.😊All praise and glory to God!😀🙏

ARISE, as part of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal will be hosting a charismatic healing service at Sts John & Paul Catholic Church, Willetton, WA on Sun, 27 August 2023 at 11.45am after the Sun 10.30am Mass. All are welcome to come to receive the healing touch of the Lord through the laying on of hands. There will be prayer teams as well as an exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available.
