For those wanting an update regarding + David Jones, he is scheduled for an Atrial Fibrillation Ablation early tomorrow morning to shock his heart back into regular rhythm. Please keep him in your prayers.

For those wondering about funeral arrangements for the late Bishop James White of Western Australia, it seems there needs to be an inquest due to the sudden and accidental nature of his death. When any further information is available we shall advise people here as soon as that information is received.

Message from David Jones:

Friends, those of you who have been following these posts have been kept up to date on the issues surrounding Bp James White from Perth, and his sudden passing at 0315hrs this AM. And there's so much to say, and maybe now is a good time to tell you a few things.

When Vicki was living in Perth, some 20+ years ago, she looked for a church that "had more to offer" ... a church that addressed the real issues, and there's none more real than "the life after". So she Googled ... Christianity and Reincarnation ... and came up with The Liberal Catholic Church ... and we in TISCC are a clear derivative of that fine church.

Vicki searched, and found a contact number, and rang it. Bp James answered and spoke compassionately to her for over two hours, so when only a few months later, I joined her in Perth, it became our church ... and he, our Bishop. David and James "clicked" immediately, for in us as a couple, he found two people, utterly devoted to each other, and with joint history, well-"churched" ... people who had a solid grounding in the sacramental side of Christianity. Just some rough edges to sort out.

Many times has Bp James graced our home, both here and when we were in Perth, and much did we learn from him, for so few have we found who really understood the Liturgy, the rubrics ... the actions ... and what they all mean and why we do them. And more than any other church leader, he unfolded all of this wisdom, explaining it as he went, in a way that made sense.

So as I became more engaged with him, I took on church roles at the highest of business levels, working with him as a co-director of the Trust and business entities within it. We were a tag-team that just worked.

These aspects ... are a huge, yet very small part of why we are so devastated by his sudden passing to Higher Service.

So what can you do ?

1. Likely, not get to the funeral service, cos it'll be in Perth and there's been no announcements. However, Bp Graham with join us here on Friday for a Requiem, and if it's Ok with him, we'll livefeed it. Around 1300 hrs Brisbane time. Will post details. So join us if you can, or later on a later view, and
2. Send a card. I mean a real hard-copy-from-the-newsagency type of card. His #1 son Darryl White is the PoC, and he's given me his address for cards, so please FLOOD him, his Mum Joan (James's wife) and brothers Shane and Vaughan and families.
