Spiritualists' National Union of WA Inc. Modern Spiritualism began for many in WA 1st August 1985 with “Spiritualist National Union of WA” The Spiritualists' National Union of WA Inc.

is a Spiritualist Church consisting of two centres in Western Australia, a Kindred Body of the SNU UK, and affiliated with the Victorian Spiritualists' Union Inc. This page details the Divine Services that run at our Cannington Centre:
Cannington Centre is on a TUESDAY EVENING. Spiritual Healing is available before each Service from 6.45pm to 7.25 pm. The Divine Church Services begin at 7.30 pm &

finish around 9pm, with tea, coffee and a light supper available after each service. The first TUESDAY of each month, we have 'An Evening With Spirit' event at our Cannington Centre. During the evening, two Guest Mediums connect with Spirit to deliver messages from their loved ones to audience members. Doors open 6.45 pm - Spiritual Healing available from 6.45 pm to 7.25 pm. The Demonstration starts at 7.30pm & finishes around 9pm - $10 at the door, with tea, coffee and a light supper available after the Demonstration. Cannington Centre: services and events are held at 44 Woodloes St, Cannington, WA 6107.

There was such a wonderful energy at our Centre on Tuesday night. With our Rich at the helm & Medium Kerry Forbes on platform, our congregation experienced a truly uplifting Service ✨

Kerry opened her address with a beautiful piece titled "The Spirit Within." The words expressing our inner divine presence that offer balance, unconditional love, and comfort through life's emotional seasons. Kerry then spoke from the heart, sharing her personal thoughts on our soul & our spirit, the divine spark within us all. Kerry asked the question what happens to those who don't have the awareness & have never been allowed to discover what is within? Is this spark awakened in a crisis? In closing, Kerry shared a thought that really resonated with the congregation; even people with strong spiritual knowledge and awareness can, at times, act in ways that do not align with our values. It was a simple but powerful reminder that understanding something doesn't always mean we live by it consistently ✨

Kerry then brought many loved ones through from the Spirit World. The communication was meaningful & accurate, providing strong proof of survival. Precious memories were positively acknowledged & brought laughter & great comfort to the recipients ✨

Heartfelt gratitude to Kerry, Rich, our Cannington Team of Healers & helpers & all in attendance for a truly special evening. The fellowship following the service meant so much to us all ✨🙏🏻🤍

A summary of this week's Address from the lovely Shirley ✨

Shirley began her address by saying that lately she has had moments when she is doing something, then all of a sudden she goes blank. You start saying something, you are getting involved, and then suddenly it stops. You ask yourself what is going on here?

Shirley continued, saying that these funny little things that are happening are part of the journey. The vibrations that we are and what is going on on planet Earth, everything is moving to work in with what we need to do. So, our energies are going into higher perspectives and higher frequencies.

Shirley then revealed that when she entered our church, and Richard mentioned the Healing Room, she felt the presence of Jesus. She said we need to call upon Jesus, Father God & Mother Earth to be of service to us as we are of service to them. Because it is a two-way street, and we tend to forget. Each day, look at what you are doing for yourself and how you are asking for help, because if we do not ask for help, we do not really get it.

We get protected to keep us safe and to continue our journey toward what we need to be doing here on planet Earth, but we do need to ask for extra help. Shirley said Solomon is a good one to call on for more strength, and he will give you that extra strength. If you want to lift anything, ask him to help, and you will find it easier to move with his energy coming through. We do not have to do everything on our own. That is why we have loved ones, guides, guardian angels, and archangels who all want to work for us. They are helping us here on Earth make the planet the beautiful place we all want it to be.

Shirley explained this is why, as spiritual beings, we get together and do the work that we do. Sending prayers and putting the energy out to the different countries, not forgetting Australia, as we need a lot of help as well. The more groups like ours sending healing to different parts of the world, especially when there is a lot of drama going on. We may not be able to control what is happening, but we can send our prayers to the angels and to God, asking for love & light to be sent to these people and to help slow it down a little bit.

Shirley spoke of her circle & the work they do in their meditation time, focusing on other places in the world, and how amazing what they get and what comes through is. So that is what we can do to help. We do not have to put our energy out there; we ask for the energy of God and angels, and Mother Earth's energy, to spread it throughout the world to help those who do not understand. Shirley continued, many people are waking up these days, in our spiritual sense. You will find that people, even families and friends who are not doing their spiritual journey, are going to be asking you for help. So be prepared for those who are starting to wake up, there is something here, what am I missing? Even strangers might talk to you about things. You will be able to give them the answer your guide gives you at that moment, so that you can help them.

There will be a lot for us to do to help the planet and to help humanity. So always work from your heart and be honest with yourself when you are doing things, too. Sometimes we tend not to be totally honest, particularly when it is about ourselves, but, you know, we really have to do that so we can heal and be where we need to be to help and heal others. So it is time to take good care of you.

On a final note, Shirley sent blessings to everyone in attendance and shared with lots of love and light, just how nice it was to be at our new home last night & how much she was looking forward to coming along.

It was so lovely to see so many people joining us Tuesday night for our weekly Divine Church Service, as we welcomed Medium Shirley Jones to the platform ✨

Shirley shared an inspiring address that resonated with all present. She then went on to read every flower, bringing through meaningful & uplifting messages of spiritual guidance for our congregation, which was greatly appreciated. My Mum was the last flower read for the night, and it was truly touching ✨

Thank you so much to Shirley for the positive, genuine energy you always bring to a service. Many thanks to our dear Rich at the helm, our Healers & helpers that make up our Cannington Team & our loyal regulars for your continued support, it means so much 🌼🙏🏻🤍

Our Story

The Spiritualists’ National Union of WA Inc. is a Spiritualist church consisting of 2 centres located in Western Australia and is a Kindred Body to the SNU UK and affiliated with the Victorian Spiritualists Union Inc.

We run weekly church services at our 2 centres, Cannington(formally Riverton Church) & Rockingham,with spiritual healing also available at both Centres. Spiritual Healing is on before each service from 6.45pm to 7.15pm. The Divine Church Services begin at 7.30pm at both Centres & finish around 9pm, with tea, coffee and a light supper available after each service. Cannington(formally Riverton Church) services are held at Unit 8/64 Kent St Cannington every Tuesday evening. Rockingham services are held at the CWA Hall at 12 Watts Rd Shoalwater every Wednesday evening. SNUWA also runs courses in Spirituality and Mediumship for members and non-members. Courses are available online or via post.
