We aim to be a Christian community that is Christ-centred, welcoming, vibrant, inclusive and life-giving for its members.

Across the Anglican world and in this Diocese – new things are happening. St Christopher's is a Parish that seeks to be in the forefront of this new movement. At the heart of this new understanding is the desire to be of service to people - to be a servant Chu

rch and to be able to offer those interested an experience of Church participation that is deeply satisfying and fulfilling as members engage with God in prayerfulness, through meditative engagement with the Scriptures and through seeing the life of God in one another. Our experience of life brings many challenges and raises many issues about the nature of God and spirituality. Our Parish seeks to be open to ask and confront difficult questions and to think and reflect upon them together in a prayerful way. Many Christians in our time are finding that learning a way of inner stillness and practising the ancient tradition of Christian meditation as a part of prayerfulness are means to a deepening encounter with God through Christ. St Christopher's encourages these traditional disciplines of the Church.

Come and join us for our next Taize service on Sunday 30 August at 6.30pm in St. Christopher's Church, Bicton-Attadale. The service involves quiet reflection, readings, prayer and music. This is the perfect way to start your week feeling refreshed and calm. All are welcome!

Come and join us to play social Table Tennis - all skill levels welcome. Equipment provided - just show up and play. After the game you can enjoy a wonderful afternoon tea. This is a great way to keep fit and make new friends.

We held our Taize service last night - a calm amongst the fury of the wind and rain. It was a beautiful candlelit service with prayers, chants, silence and the lighting of candles as a sign of guidance and peace. Thank you to those who came out on such an awful evening to share this with us here at St. Christopher's.

Are you looking for a great space to hold a regular group class? Then look no further than St. Christopher's Memorial Hall,
120 Waddell Road, Bicton, 6157. There are time slots available on Wednesdays between 3.30pm and 5pm, Thursdays between 3.30pm and 5.30pm and Fridays between 8am (or earlier) and 4pm. Large wooden floor area with smaller carpeted area, use of tables, chairs and kitchen if required. Contact Jacqui on [email protected] for further information.
