Palm Sunday was briefly lived this year before we segued into Holy Week and the Passion story of our Lord. Taize Tenebrae on Tuesday night became a labyrinth reflection on the Stations of the Cross using writings by Clarence Enzler and Malcolm Guite on Wednesday.
Needs must: when the loan of a commercial canvas labyrinth was belatedly not an option for us, we created our own labyrinth with what we had on hand...worked a treat!!
Tomorrow (Thursday) join us at 9am or 7pm as we begin the Great Triduum. All are welcome to our services of Remembrance of the Lord's Supper and foot/hand washing.
We would love to welcome you.

Sharing for you this beautiful prayer from Elizabeth Smith in response to the dreadful events of yesterday afternoon. We give thanks for all police officers and paramedics who put their lives on the line to tend to the injured and dying. May the light of God conquer the darkness.

If you're in the city today, and would like a quiet space to pray in the wake of the horrifying terrorist attack on the Chanukah by the Sea celebration at Sydney's Bondi Beach, please know there is a dedicated space available at St George's Cathedral.

With thanks also to the Revd Dr Elizabeth Smith for this prayer:

According to a national survey, most Australians do not acknowledge that domestic and family violence is a problem in our own communities. We may acknowledge the problem generally but think of it as a problem ‘out there’, in other communities, affecting other types of people. We hear about it on...
