πŸͺ¨ "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge." β€” Psalm 18:2

This beloved hymn reminds us that our salvation is not earned by our good works, our efforts, or even our tears of repentance. Our hope rests entirely in Jesus Christ, the Rock of Ages, our refuge and our Redeemer.

In times of weakness, temptation, uncertainty, and even in the face of death, Christ remains our sure foundation. We come to Him empty-handed, trusting not in ourselves but in His grace, His sacrifice on the cross, and His power to save.

As we journey through life, may we continually find shelter in Him, knowing that the Rock that sustains us today will also carry us safely into eternity.
✝️ "Handine chimwe changu, ndobata muchinjikwa."
"I bring nothing of my own; I cling only to the Cross."

πŸ™ "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." β€” 1 John 1:9

This hymn is a humble prayer of repentance, reminding us that no matter how far we may have wandered, God's mercy is greater than our failures. We have all fallen short through our thoughts, words, actions, and neglect of what is right. Yet our Heavenly Father remains rich in grace and ready to forgive those who come to Him with sincere hearts.

As we reflect on our lives today, may we have the courage to confess our sins, seek God's forgiveness, and embrace the new life He offers through Christ.
πŸ•ŠοΈ "Muri Mwari mune ngoni dzisingazopera."
You are a God whose mercy never ends.

As we gather in the house of the Lord, we come not merely to occupy a place, but to meet with God. We bring our hearts, our prayers, our burdens, and our hopes before Him, seeking His presence and His Word.

May we listen attentively to His voice, allow Him to renew and cleanse us, and leave transformed by His grace. And as we journey through this life, may He keep us faithful until the day we are welcomed into His eternal kingdom.

πŸ™ Lord, speak to us, shape us, and draw us closer to You.

HYMN 243 Dzidzisa vadzidzisi

πŸ“– "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." β€” Matthew 28:19

The message of Christ was never meant to stay within the walls of the Church. As this hymn reminds us, we are called to teach, to witness, and to carry the Good News to every corner of the world.

May we not only speak God's Word, but also live it, so that others may see Christ through us. Let us pray that every nation, every community, and every heart may come to know the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ.

🌍 "Ngairinzwiwe dama rake navatadzi vose."
May His voice be heard by all.

🎢✨ MCC led us in a heartfelt time of praise and worship through Hymn 48, Hakuna zita sera Jesu.

As the congregation lifted their voices, we were reminded of the power, grace, and love found in the name of Jesus. There is no other name in heaven or on earth like His. The name of the Saviour who died for us, forgives our sins, heals the broken, strengthens the weak, and walks with us wherever we go.

In every season of life, His name remains our hope, our comfort, and our salvation. May we continue to honour Him, proclaim His goodness, and trust in His unfailing presence.

"Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name." β€” Philippians 2:9

πŸŽΆπŸ™Œ MCU led us in a powerful time of praise and worship today through the hymns Mwari muri zuva redu and Zadzisai chirevo chenyu.

As we sang, we were reminded that God is our Sun and Shield, lighting our path, protecting us from every fear, and pouring out His grace and blessings upon those who trust in Him.

We also lifted our voices in prayer for Christ's kingdom to be known throughout the world, that all people may come to know His salvation and truth.

May we continue to trust in His love, walk in His light, and pray for His mission to be fulfilled among all nations.
"The Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favour and honour." β€” Psalm 84:11

β„οΈπŸŒ§οΈ Despite the wind and rain, God's people still gathered in fellowship and worship today. What a blessing it was to witness the faith and dedication of the congregation as we came together in His house.

MCU had their processional walk, a beautiful reminder of our shared journey of faith and commitment to serving Christ. Through every season, whether sunshine or storm, God remains faithful and His people continue to move forward in His mission.

another." – Hebrews 10:25
