Day 7 — 7 June 1984 / Aftermath

If you’ve made it through all seven days — thank you for not turning away.

Here’s the part that’s hardest to sit with: 1984 was never really one week in June. It was the beginning of a decade, and the wounds it left have still never been formally acknowledged.

We’re a student society on the other side of the world. We can’t change what happened, and we can’t deliver the justice that never came. But we can refuse to let it be forgotten — and we can hand this memory to the next generation, the way it was handed to us.

That’s why we made this. Read the names. Say them out loud. That’s how they live on.
