United Methodist Church - (Perth)

United Methodist Church - (Perth) The United Methodist Church (UMC) of Perth was founded in January 2010 by several Zimbabweans that meet at a Revival in Perth.

The Church was founded together with Rev. Stephen Mukata in relation with the Zimbabwe UMC Conference. The Zimbabwe Conference's roots trace to The United Methodist Church founded in 1968 by the union of The Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church, initiated by the revival movement of John and Charles Wesley within the Church of England. The Perth church initially started with

service being conducted in the residence of members before moving to its present location at Rotary Hall, South Perth.
