We’re still on the hunt for some social media support.
St Hilda’s Anglican Church in North Perth is looking for someone creative, energetic and community-minded to work with us on a **paid six-month trial** to significantly lift our social media presence. We don't have mega bucks, but a humble budget to give this work a go. We don't expect the world, so don't worry!
There is a lot happening at St Hilda’s — and we want to get much better at telling that story.
We’re looking for someone who can help us potentially:
✨ strengthen and grow our Facebook presence
📸 create, launch and manage our Instagram
🎥 produce engaging photo, video, Reel and story content
💬 build genuine engagement with local community groups, organisations and businesses
📅 plan content around worship, events and parish life
🌿 tell the stories of our people, our community, our heritage and the things happening around our site
📈 help us reach people well beyond those who already know St Hilda’s
🤝 make social media feel like part of our wider community engagement — not simply an electronic noticeboard
We’re not looking for slick corporate marketing. We want someone who can find the human stories, capture the energy of the place, and help people discover a welcoming, active and outward-looking parish in the heart of North Perth.
One important element: you’d hopefully be available to be with us in North Perth on **Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026.
Those two days will give you extraordinary content to work with.
🌸 Saturday 14 November:our major Community Spring Fair, bringing together the parish, local organisations, community groups, food, music, gardens, stalls, activities and hundreds of people.
St Hilda's Community Spring Fair
⛪ Sunday 15 November: St Hilda’s Day, one of the biggest days in our worshipping year and a wonderful opportunity to capture another side of who we are. We have baptisms and confirmations in the morning and a celebratory evening service too.
We envisage an initial six-month paid appointment, working collaboratively with the Parish Priest and others at St Hilda’s. Some work can obviously happen remotely, but we want someone who is able to spend a bit of time with us in person when it matters particularly for content creation.
You might be an established social media manager, a freelancer building your portfolio, or a brilliant content creator who thinks this sounds exactly like the sort of project you’d love.
Interested?
