Assalamu Alaikum wr br and sisters alhamdulilla we are slowly heading towards normality
We had good turn out for Friday Jumah prayers and with the big turnout problems come with it
Last Friday we had a janazah which stretched our resources to the limits
Even though we have a second jumah prayers it seems like everyone wants to come for the first one
We are supposed to close the gates for the first session at 1:00 pm but people come after 1:00 and want to force entry, if they exercise a little patience the second prayer starts at 1:15
So please Br show a little patience

We have made quite good progress with the educating of the urgency of the virus. We have a duty towards the musallees that attend the prayer’s at our Masjid, the visitors attending the mosque has a problem adhering to the rules set in place to keep the place virus free which is
No toilets No wudu, no prayer mat no entry
We have the two Jumah prayers
The first prayer starts at 12:45 the second one starts at 1:15
You don’t need to register or anything just turn up with your prayer mat wudu and saber
If you want to turn up with a attitude please don’t come
Anyway alhamdulilla we had a good turn out last week majority were well behaved

Assalamu Alaikum wr wa Barakatu my Br and Sr in Islam
Last week we had a great week most of the renovations at the mosque has been completed just a few odds and ends need to be completed
The glass doors will be tinted and with the bottom half will be frosted, so in the future no notices will be stuck on the windows, there are notice boards for that, of course permission should be asked form the committee or the Imaam
The wudu/ toilets will remain shut until the restrictions are lifted, the reason being it has to be sanitised after use, it is a full time job we cannot afford, so brothers have patience saber don’t bring tools to open the taps that has been closed it will lead to you being barred from the mosque Jazakalla
Friday past jummah prayers went off well this week inshallah we will start at the same times
Gates will open at 11:30 lockout at 12:55 if you are late saber
Second Jumah prayers will start at 1:15
Remember no wudu no prayer mat no entry
No women and no children under 15 not allowed as there’s no facilities for them
Jazakalla for your cooperation
Inshallah make Duah for the committee as we make for you

Assalamu Alaikum my Br and Sr
Today is the first day of Muharram, the beginning of the Islamic year
We have started 2020with corona virus many lives have been lost Muslim as well as non Muslim “innalilahi wa inns ilaihi raji un”
We are coming to the end of our week, tomorrow is jumah please remember the Masjid has restrictions in place
No Women and children under 15
No wudu
No prayer mat
No entry
We have two jumah prayers
First one starts at 12:45
Gates open from 11:30
The gates closes at 1:00
Second prayer starts at1:15 same rules are in place as the first prayer

Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatulahi wabarakatu br and sr
The last Jummah prayers we had was well attended and well managed,the mussalies attending the prayers are cooperative only a few stubborn rebellious ones who question the authority of the volunteers at gates
Alhamdulilla everything went off smoothly
We were approached to make a collection for Lebanon, past Saturday and Sunday was set aside for the collection, $695.00 was collected
Jazakalla to the brothers who made a contribution
The monies will be dispatched to the authorities of the charities
We are heading towards the Islamic New year calendars are available for sale at the Mosque Jazakalla May Allah Swt strengthen our immaan and have mercy on us

To day is Yumal Ghamise, Thursday
due to covid restrictions still in place, which is safe distancing
No wudu
No prayer mat
No entry
Hand Sanitizer available at gate, during these times Ladies and Children under 15 not permitted .
We have 2 two jumah prayers the first one starts at 12-45, second one starts at 1:15
The gates open at 11-30 , and will be locked five minutes before salaah ( or maximum numbers have been reached)
On entering you have to sign in and after salaah if you can leave immediately it will be appreciated Jazakalla

Brothers and sisters welcome to the new and official news letter
In the 1980’s quite a few of the South Africans migrated to Australia and settled in Perth Western Australia. We were all attending the mosque in William Street Perth for Jumah which was our Friday meeting place, we all one big happy family
Later we decided to build our own mosque
A committee was formed and the name Noorul Islam was born
Committee office bearers was
The late Br Yunus Docrat
Br Amien Abader
Sr Fatima Edries
Br Adiel Francke
Br Mohamed Zaid Julius
Br Yusuf Du Toit
Sr Gyroonisa Botha and many more the others became fundraisers plus a working committee was formed, the seed was planted
From there we worked and never looked back
