Today in Adelaide, members of NATSIAC, The Anglican Communion Indigenous Network, Bishops and others from across Australia gathered at St Peter's Cathedral.

National Aboriginal Bishop, Chris McLeod, received the Reconciliation Cope, a gift of the Anglican Communion commissioned in 2022 following the Australian visit of the Archbishop of Canterbury. Bishop Chris also marked the end of his ministry as National Aboriginal Bishop - a ministry for which we thank God.

It was wonderful to see Perth NATSIAC representatives, Aunty Marie Pryor and Aunty Shirley Harris there, as well as Māori Bishop Susan Wallace.

On Saturday 29 August we were able to be in Bunbury to give thanks to God for the ministry of Bishop Ian Coutts as he laid up his Pastoral Staff. Bunbury Diocese will meet in October to elect its next Bishop.

We pray for +Ian and Anne and for all Bunbury Anglicans at this time of change.

As we prepare for the start of Spring and our minds turn to new life, the Revd Dr Elizabeth Smith contemplates the Season of Creation, including a challenge for us as individuals and a nation.
