A Catholic Lay Apostolate faithful to the authority and the teachings of the Magisterium whose main aim is to promote the devotion to the Saints through the veneration of their Sacred Relics. The Saints & Sacred Relics Apostolate (Perth) was established in April 2011, upon approval from His Grace Most Reverend Barry James Hickey, DD - the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Perth, Western Australia. The
Apostolate aims to re-introduce the traditional Catholic practice of honouring the Saints through the veneration of their Sacred Relics, an ancient and venerable practice deeply rooted in the Church's history and traditions, which has largely been overlooked since the Second Vatican Council. The Apostolate aspires to supply the faithful with as much background information as possible, including theological and scriptural basis, Church's teachings and traditions, relating to the Sacred Relics of the Saints and their veneration, together with stories of miracles and healings the Almighty wrought through the Sacred Relics of His Saints. Interested Parishes, Religious Communities, Lay Associations of the Faithful, and other Catholic Organisations are invited to contact the Apostolate to organise a Sacred Relics Exposition for members of their Communities.
