A big vision for next generation of Australian teenagers. Word of Life Fellowship want to gather thousands of young people to Luna Park for an amazing outreach in October 2027. They are seeking funds from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) to support this vision and need church leaders to endorse the event for that to happen. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We are writing to you on behalf of the Go Tell: Big Day Out Executive Leadership Team. We are a collection of evangelical pastors, church leaders, Christian professionals, youth leaders, and heads of youth ministries, with a bold vision to share Christ with the next generation of Australian teenagers. We long to see young people across Sydney encounter Jesus personally and be drawn into local churches and ongoing discipleship.
Our prayer is that in October 2027 God will draw four to six thousand teenagers from across Sydney and the surrounding regions to an iconic outreach event at Luna Park titled *Go Tell: Big Day Out*. Our desire is to secure Luna Park for a full day of free admission and unlimited rides for all teenagers.
As part of the outreach, we hope to utilise the Big Top Theatre at Milsons Point to host two evangelistic gatherings throughout the day. We are praying that God will enable the program to include worship, testimonials from well-known Christian figures, and a powerful gospel message and invitation to respond.
The selection of Luna Park as the desired venue for this rally represents the heart of this great vision. We want to plant the flag of Christ in Sydney. We want Christ to take captive a generation of teenagers and equip them to reach their family and friends.
In preparation for this outreach, we hope to equip and mobilise three thousand Christian teenagers to prayerfully reach their friends with the message of Christ — in the same spirit as Andrew, who invited Peter to “come and see” the Messiah (John 1:40–42).
The heart of our vision can be summarised in the great rally of Acts 2 and Peter’s Pentecost address:
“When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, ‘Brothers, what shall we do?’
Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’”

Our collective spirit yearns for the Lord to bring revival and to lead thousands more to faith, just as He did at Pentecost and during the time of the Apostles.
To achieve this bold vision, we are seeking to enlist the partnership of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). We are hoping that the BGEA will help finance and coordinate this event. The BGEA has a long and beautiful history of proclaiming the gospel in Australia. The Southern Cross Crusades of 1959 continue to leave a lasting legacy on churches and modern Australia. Statistics show that approximately one third of Australians attended one of the Graham rallies during that tour. We are praying that the Lord will do it again in our time.
To make this youth outreach event possible, the partnership and participation of your church is greatly needed. At this stage, we are simply asking you and your church leaders to prayerfully consider supporting the *Go Tell: Big Day Out* outreach. We are not requesting financial support at this time, but rather your prayers that the Lord will make this event possible and open the hearts of our teenagers. We hope this event will be a blessing for all our local churches and bring glory to God.
To enlist the support of the BGEA, we need the endorsement of as many churches as possible. Would you prayerfully consider adding your church’s name to the list of churches supportive of this event taking place in Sydney in October 2027?
Our team is passionate, and God has lit a fire within us to see the Kingdom of God expand in a mighty way across Sydney. We are a coalition of leaders from different denominations, and we need your partnership.
