An elderly couple recently decided to follow Jesus at a Project Philip Bible group meeting in a village in the province of Ararat in Armenia.

🙏 Please pray for them to grow in faith and develop a close relationship with Jesus. Elderly people in Armenia have a great influence in family and society, please pray that many more will find faith and become an example for others.

On a Tuesday morning in Auckland, a row of “school students” sit ready to learn. But they’re not children. They’re adults — mostly Chinese women who’ve moved to New Zealand with their families, many juggling school drop-offs, work schedules, and the courage it takes to start again in a new country. They’ve come with a simple goal: to speak English with confidence. And they’re doing it in an unexpected way — through the Bible.

At Pakuranga Chinese Baptist Church, Senior Pastor Albert Tang has supported the Bible-based Literacy ministry as a practical way for the church to serve and connect with people in the local community. Through the church’s partnership with Bible League, the program provides a welcoming environment where participants can improve their English while being introduced to the hope found in God’s Word.

The Plain English Version (PEV) Bible was created to help Indigenous Australians who speak Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander languages and use English as a second language engage more easily with God's Word.

Developed through a partnership between Bible League Australia, retired Wycliffe translators, and AuSIL, the PEV faithfully communicates the truth of Scripture in clear, everyday English.

Meet Rhonda, whose life was transformed after encountering Jesus and reading the Plain English Version (PEV) Bible.

Like many people, Rhonda longed to read God's Word but found traditional Bible translations difficult to understand. When she received a Plain English Version Bible, Scripture became clear and accessible, helping her grow in her faith and deepen her relationship with Jesus.

In Haiti, an ongoing social and political crisis shapes the daily lives of many people.

🙏 Please pray for our colleagues that they may continue their ministry despite these difficult circumstances and not be discouraged. We praise God that His kingdom is not allowed to be stopped by political instability.

Badayala is a Yolŋu Matha word from the Gupapuyngu language of northeast Arnhem Land, meaning "light." Pronounced “budd-i-yul-ah,” it beautifully reflects the Christian message of hope, guidance, safety, and God's presence.

This August and September, Bible League is partnering with radio stations across Australia to provide 7,500 Plain English Version (PEV) Bibles to Indigenous Australians eager to engage with God's Word.

With more than 120 Indigenous languages spoken across Australia, many people speak English as a second language. The PEV is written in clear, everyday English, making the Good News of Jesus easier to understand and more accessible.
Your gift will help print and place PEV Bibles into the hands of people longing to read God's Word, while also supporting the training and distribution needed to reach communities across Australia.

$20 = 1 PEV Bible.

🌍 Because of you, the Word of God is reaching places it has never gone before—and lives are being changed for eternity.

In 2025, Bible League worked across 55+ countries, bringing God’s Word to villages, prisons, and communities. People opened the Bible and encountered Jesus—many for the first time.

Through your prayers and generosity, you are helping transform lives, strengthen churches, and bring hope through Scripture.

Thank you for being part of this mission.
