Good Afternoon Pathways Community,
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) program exists to enhance the well-being and social connection of our older people, providing companionship, support, and meaningful engagement.
Did you know?
1 in 5 older people report feeling lonely.
For those living in an aged care home, that number rises to 1 in 3.
Regular visits from volunteers combat social isolation, provide friendship, and improve the overall quality of life for older adults. Your time, care, and presence can make a profound difference in someone’s day, week, and life.
If you would like to be part of this worthwhile program and bring joy and companionship to our elderly, please contact Joanne Daines - Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme Coordinator on Office (02) 9636-7400 or [email protected] (Work Hours: Monday & Wednesday, 9:00am - 3:30pm).
Your compassion, time, and friendship can bring warmth, connection, and hope to our older community members. Together, we can make a difference — one visit at a time.
ACVVS is in need of a couple of specific volunteers at this time, links attached, but we are always in need of new volunteer, Please share these links and prayerfully consider volunteering to be a part of this program.
