Patrick’s Cathedral since 2006 and the Music Ministry continues to play an important role in serving the very busy schedule of Masses, liturgies, and other events that occur there. On Sundays, the Cathedral Choir serves at the 11am Solemn Mass, while a cantor and organ accompanies the 6pm Vigil, 9:30am, and the 6pm masses. Once a month, the Tongan Choir serves at the 9:30am Mass and the Youth Choi

r serves at the 6pm Mass. On Solemnities that fall on a weekday, a cantor and organ serves at the 12:30pm Mass. The Cathedral Choir also provides music at major occasions in the liturgical calendar, such as, Holy Week and Easter, Christmas, the Solemnity of the Assumption, and Ash Wednesday. With talent from a wide range of musical backgrounds, the choir is committed to performing from an extensive repertoire which spans a period of over 1000 years. Each week, services include music ranging from Gregorian chant to renaissance polyphony, classical to romantic, as well as various contemporary pieces.

You are warmly invited to Choral Vespers and awards presentation this Sunday 9/11 at 4:00 pm. Our Director of Music, Bernard Kirkpatrick KSS is going to presented a fellowship from the Guild of Church Musicians.

The Cathedral Choir is delighted to be singing a new Canticle, written by Mr Kirkpatrick, Locus iste by Stopford, and the Magnificat on the primi toni for 8 voices by Palestrina.
