Today, we honour and celebrate the fathers in our midst. We recognise the love, sacrifices, hard work, prayers, and quiet strength you give to your families. Your efforts may not always be seen or spoken about, but they are deeply valued and appreciated. ❤️

Above all, we give thanks to our Heavenly Father, whose perfect love is the greatest example of fatherhood. May He continue to give our fathers wisdom, strength, patience, and grace as they lead and nurture their families. 🙏

In this concluding message from our Ephesians Series, we step back and see the whole picture of Paul’s letter: what God has done for us, how we are called to live, and what God provides so that we can stand firm in Christ.

Remember who you are in Christ.

Walk worthy of the calling you have received.

🛡️ EQUIPPED TO STAND — Ephesians 6
Be strong in the Lord and depend upon everything God provides.

Our journey through Ephesians takes us from God’s eternal purpose to our everyday Christian walk:

Chosen by grace → Redeemed by Christ → Made alive with Christ → United as His Church → Transformed in our walk → Strengthened for the battle → Encouraged by His people → Sustained by peace, faith, love, and grace → All to the praise of His glory.

Paul begins Ephesians with grace and peace, and he ends with peace and grace. Everything in between shows us what the grace of God has accomplished through Jesus Christ.

The Christian life does not begin with what we can do for God. It begins with what God has done for us in Christ. And the same grace that saves us is the grace that sustains us until the end.

As we conclude Ephesians, remember:

Remember what God has done for you.
Walk worthy of what God has called you to be.
Stand in the strength that God provides.
Love our Lord Jesus Christ with an incorruptible love.

The Christian life is a spiritual battle, but Christians do not fight in their own strength. In Ephesians 6:10–20, Paul commands us to be strong in the Lord, put on the whole armor of God, and stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

In this sermon, we consider the Christian’s battle plan, the true enemy we face, and every piece of the armor God provides: truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God.

We also see the vital role of prayer and the ultimate mission of spiritual warfare: to stand faithfully in Christ and boldly proclaim the gospel.

The Christian victory depends not upon our own strength, but upon Christ and what He has accomplished for us.

The Gospel is our message.
Christ is our strength.
And in Him, we stand.

Biblical Accountability in the Church | Hebrews 3:12–13

|Hebrews 3:12–13 reminds believers to “exhort one another every day” so that we are not hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Biblical accountability is not about controlling or condemning others, but about believers lovingly exhorting, praying, confessing, correcting, and restoring one another as we seek to remain faithful to Christ.

In this message, we consider three important purposes of biblical accountability:

1. Accountability Protects Us
It helps guard us against temptation, isolation, self-deception, and drifting away from Christ.

2. Accountability Leads to Restoration, Not Shame
When a believer falls into sin, our goal should not be humiliation or condemnation, but gentle restoration—bearing one another’s burdens and helping each other walk faithfully with Christ again.

3. Accountability Leads to Spiritual Growth
As “iron sharpens iron,” accountability exposes areas where we need to grow, encourages us to put God’s Word into practice, and leads us toward holiness and Christlikeness.

Biblical accountability calls us to be honest with one another, humble enough to receive correction, willing to confess our sins, committed to change, faithful in prayer, and loving enough to restore and encourage one another.

Over the past two Sundays, Bro. Jeniel Pascual led us through Ephesians 6:1–4 and 6:5–9, reminding us that our faith in Christ should shape how we live and relate to one another.

From our homes to our workplaces, we are called to obey, honour, serve, and love—not merely to please people, but as unto the Lord. 🙏

“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” — Ephesians 5:21

May our relationships reflect Christ through humility, love, and a servant’s heart. ❤️

Submit to One Another: Masters and Servants
Ephesians 6:5–9

What does the Gospel have to say about the way we work?

In Ephesians 6:5–9, Paul speaks to both servants and masters and points them to one ultimate reality: Jesus Christ is Lord over both.

For servants, the call is to work with sincerity—not merely with “eye-service” or to please people, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. Whether our work is noticed or unseen, Christ is our true audience.

For masters and those in authority, the command is equally serious: treat others with the same sincerity, stop threatening and intimidating, and remember that you also have a Master in heaven—and with Him there is no partiality.

The Gospel transforms our understanding of work. Our position may differ, but before Christ we stand under the same Lord.

Work is worship, not performance.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” — Colossians 3:23

Main Points:

To Servants: Work as unto the Lord — Ephesians 6:5–8
To Masters: Remember you also have a Master — Ephesians 6:9
To All of Us: Christ is the true Master and the true audience of our work.
