👨‍🍼 Free support groups for local dads with children from birth to school age are now available! 💙 The 6-week program is being offered as part of our Maternal Child Services and will:

• build social connections with other dads from the area
• provide a safe and supportive environment for dads to share their experiences
• provide information about support services available
• explore early childhood development and early years services
• help establish links within your community.

A powerful way to start a Monday.

LENT - As Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness to draw near to God and prepare for his earthly ministry, Lent is an invitation for Christians to draw near to God as we prepare to reflect on and celebrate Easter.
It has become a custom of Lent to give something up that will help to focus ourselves on following Jesus. What might you give up?
Often people think of food or drinks - like sugar or caffeine, but maybe its good to think about what you might give up that will help in your spiritual relationship with Jesus. Maybe its less tangible, like scrolling on your phone before bed, or another beahviour you don't think is helpful in your particular spiritual walk. The aim is to draw closer to Jesus, not to feel like a failure if you don't make the 40 days. So, why not ask God to reveal something for you to sacrifice and see how you go!
