Galatians 4:16 (NIV): "Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?" This captures the reality that even when speaking the truth in love, people may become angry or offended. Proverbs 29:25 (ESV): "The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe." This verse is a direct reminder not to fear people's reactions or offense, but rather to trust in God.
