d advocacy related programs and services to be a One-Stop Islamic Centre; a model for the world. The goals of the UMA are to establish and provide an Islamic alternative for the community and to continue working with the broader community for generations to come. This alternative is accomplished by fulfilling and providing services and facilities in all areas. Through our work, we hope to help the Muslim community to develop into well educated, confident and upstanding members of the Australian community. At the same time, our goal is to also educate and inform people about Islam, and removing the misconceptions that have been spread about Islam in the past. Islam teaches us that there is no compulsion in religion, yet it is our duty to inform people about the beauty and perfection of Islam. Over the years, the UMA Community Centre has been an integral part of the Muslim community providing essential services to the Islamic and wider community.
