NCS:Coast is a Christian university student group on the Ourimbah and Gosford campuses of the University of Newcastle. Tomorrow we have our first prayer gathering for the semester! Prayer lunch is a great time for us to gather with one another, share a meal with one another and bring our lives, campus, nation and world to our good God through prayer.

Come along for some yummy food, but most importantly for some encouraging time praying to our God who loves it when we pray to him :)

Last Thursday we had the chance to have our mission partner Ryan come and share his experience as a missionary with his wife Lynne in the Seychelles. It was a great time to hear the encouraging work God has been doing in the Seychelles, but also a chance to encourage and pray for Ryan and Lynne as they plan to go back soon.

We’ll continue to be praying for the Verghese family at our prayer gatherings (we have a prayer meeting next week!) and so continue to pray for them as they spend time in Australia and plan to head back to the Seychelles.

**UPDATE**

We've had to postpone stalls for today, fingers crossed for Thursday!
In the meantime, why not take the opportunity to share with a classmate that you're a Christian and ask what they think about Jesus!

We have stalls running this week on Tuesday (today!!!) and Thursday! Stalls are a great opportunity to grow in our love for the lost and our confidence in sharing the reason for the hope that we have, so even if you’ve never done one or are a bit hesitant, just standing next to other ncsers having convos is a great place to start!

DETAILS:
When? 10am-2pm Tuesday and Thursday!
Where? Level 3, Gosford Mann St Campus

We’ll be handing out pancakes and asking our peers “what do you find restful” and “how satisfying is that rest” to hopefully share the true rest we have found in Jesus!

C@N is our fortnightly training night, to be equipped to follow Jesus for a lifetime!

This week we excitedly have our mission partner Ryan joining us this week to share his experience on mission in the Seychelles! THIS IS THE WEEK to get along to a C@N as it’ll be a great chance to hear how God is at work around the globe as well as spur on our fellow Christian brothers and sisters!

Next week on Thursday we are having Semester 2's Welcome Dinner! Whether you are a returning or coming along for the first time we are excited to see you there!

Thursday the 16th we have another FireUp 🔥 event! FireUp is a chance for us to get keen and ‘fire up’ for our upcoming events, which will be Wintercon!!!

We’ll spend some time in the Bible, have some dinner together and enjoy a sweet fire! It’ll be a great time catching up with one another and getting excited for Wintercon! All are welcome :)
