The purpose and aim of Khalsa Shouni is:
* To promote the tenets of Sikhism.
* To promote the Sikh religion and support members of the Sikh religion in their religious endeavours and the practice of their faith.
* To promote the understanding of the Sikh religion, philosophy and culture within the broader community.
* To establish a Sikh community centre in Shepparton, Victoria.
* To promote the c

ivic, cultural, moral and social welfare of the members of the Sikh community within Australian society and promote multiculturalism.
* To unite the members of the Sikh community.
* To establish a free vegetarian meals service to those in need.
* To establish, operate and promote the conduct of:
o Sikh Religious classes and programs;
o Sikh Worship Services and Programs;
o Sikh cultural classes and programs;
o Language classes to teach Punjabi and English to the sikh community and
the broader community;
o Vocal and music classes specialising in sikh music;
o Sikh martial arts;
o Other services, classes and programs beneficial to sikh community. o To establish facilities and programs to support the welfare and well being of
