This simple little preschool Valentine’s Day Craft is my new favorite. It’s minimalist, but children can create their own family out of paper hearts, googly eyes, and markers with wide boundaries. While creating this little heart family, they work on important fine motor skills, pre-writing skills, and building pride in their family.

🕸 THIS IS A MUST-DO THIS SEASON! 🕸

How could a flattened cardboard box, some tape, and a little paint lead to so much MAGIC?! I promise it's easier to make this web shape than it looks (just start by making a ➕ first and then an ✖️and go from there) and is worth the few extra minutes of prep! And you can TOTALLY do this on the floor- we only paint up on our walls for social media pics 📸😉

“This photo was taken 24 hours after I gave birth to my second baby boy, Waylon.

The guy on the left is my ex, the 3-year-old holding his hand is my first child, Cade, we had together.

The guy on the right holding my sons’ Right hand is my fiancé, and the newborn baby Boy is our child.

Just because a relationship doesn’t work out between two people DOES NOT mean the relationship with the child shouldn’t. I would never take that away. Every child needs a mother and father figure and my son Cade just happens to get some extra love.

Be civil and co-parent. If you made the child together it’s both your job to raise the child.”
