Follow Baptist Church Follow Baptist Church was birthed on July 5th, 2015 in the Officer region of Melbourne. Our mission is to Follow Jesus, in our community, for His glory.

Follow Baptist Church is a Church plant in Officer, which officially launched in July 2015. We want to be a Church that is warm and friendly for all ages as well as being a Church that shares the love of Jesus in our local community and beyond. Our Vision is Jesus, and our mission is to follow Jesus, in our community, for His glory. No matter who you are, or where you've come from you are welcome

This weekend, we're taking a moment to honour the dads, father figures and other special people in our lives with a special guest panel and a meaningful Father's Day message from Wayne Forward.

We know that Father's Day can hold different emotions for each of us. Whatever your relationship with your earthly father or father figure may look like, we can all find hope in knowing that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us more deeply than we could ever imagine!

What an incredibly encouraging and faith-filled night at our Strategic Vision Forum! 🙏

It was such a privilege to prayerfully discern, dream and pray together about what the next five years could look like if we truly trusted God to move in and through us as we seek to reach the growing South East corridor of Victoria.

Perhaps the most exciting part was hearing people begin to recognise how God has uniquely gifted them and how they could personally contribute to what He is doing. There was a real sense of faith, expectation and unity in the room.

We don’t know exactly what the next five years will hold, but we know the One who holds them. And we’re excited to make room for God to lead, move and do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine 🙌

How blessed were we to be surrounded by so many smiling faces this weekend 😃😊

To wrap up our current series, Pastor Luke delivered a powerful sermon on Jesus as our Lord and challenged us to reflect on where Jesus is Lord in our lives, what is He Lord of and why. He left us to ponder the thought, ‘if Jesus is not Lord of all, he is not Lord at all’.

A big thankyou to our hospitality team for a wonderful lunch after the Sunday service and also to all the members who joined us for our Annual General Meeting. It was an encouraging and fruitful time of fellowship 💚

This year, we have been focused on making room in our church 💚

The launch of our second service has been one way that we can make room for new visitors and those searching for a church home, but that means our services can look a little different than they were… with some empty seats.

Don’t be discouraged… BE ENCOURAGED! We now have room for you and many others to join our church family.

So come along, fill a seat and be encouraged as Pastor Luke wraps up our series, There is Power in the name of Jesus.
