One of the greatest ministries God has given us is not always on a stage, behind a microphone, or out in the community, sometimes it’s right inside our own homes.
As parents, we often wonder if we’re doing enough. We see schools teaching our children, churches pouring into them, and the world constantly influencing them. But one of the deepest lessons our children will ever learn comes from watching us daily.
They are watching how we love.
How we respond under pressure.
How we pray.
How we serve.
How we forgive.
How we keep showing up even when we’re tired.
Our children may forget some of the words we say, but they will remember the atmosphere we created in our home. They will remember whether faith was lived out consistently, whether love was shown freely, and whether Jesus was visible in the way we treated one another.
Many of us were raised by parents who did the best they could with what they knew. We honor their sacrifices, their prayers, and the foundation they laid for us. And now, by God’s grace, we continue building for the next generation.
Serving God as a family is not always easy. Some seasons feel exhausting and imperfect. But even in the chaos, God is working in the small moments, the prayers before bed, the worship in the car, the conversations at the dinner table, the acts of kindness our children quietly witness.
Never underestimate what God can do through your faithful everyday example.
Galatians 6:9 reminds us:
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
So to every parent trying, praying, sacrificing, and loving through every season keep going. God sees the seeds you are planting. Your home is holy ground, and the example you live today is shaping hearts for tomorrow.
