This Sunday (23rd June) is going to be particularly difficult for us at Norton Summit Baptist Church. It is the first getting together since our dear Pastor Dan Fennell died on Wednesday night as the result of a heart attack. We are all grieving and so are the wider Baptist Churches, the Barnabas Aid community, and his many other friends and family.
We need your prayers for our fellowship and for Diane and her family and all who are grieving his loss. Then we have more to manage as we progress as a church without the remarkable pastor that he was. Please keep all in your prayers, and value those closest to you as never before.

Our wonderful glass walled church extension was completed 30 years ago and we are celebrating the occasion over the 1st weekend in April.
What a vision and foresight those involved had and what a wonderful atmosphere for worship. We may be sitting in the church looking at a koala in the outside trees, or enjoying the low winter sun bring its radiance into the church. Or just simply enjoy the fellowship.
If you or your family members are past worshippers we would love to see you in April when you will receive a very warm welcome.

Young children are curious. When I asked my mother 'Why?' she would often answer: "Y is a crooked letter that you can't make straight.' In these days of recent unseasonal weather and unending war, have you found yourself asking Why? That question opens King David's Psalm 2 coronation song - the most quoted psalm in the New Testament. Join us at Norton Summit Baptist on Sunday to hear God's clear answer.
