We gather together this Sunday at St John’s Norton Summit for our Pentecost 15 service, joining in worship, prayer, Scripture, hymns and fellowship in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

Our readings invite us to reflect on God’s saving presence, the importance of living faithfully within our communities, and the love and reconciliation that should characterise the Christian community.

Join us for Sunday worship at **St John’s Anglican Church, Norton Summit**, led by **Rev John Venus**, as we reflect on one of the most important questions Jesus asks his disciples:

**Jesus said to them, “Who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”**
— Matthew 16:15–16

This Sunday’s readings invite us to reflect on identity, faith, calling, transformation, and what it means to recognise Christ and offer our lives in service to God.

📖 **First Reading:** Exodus 1:8–2:10
The story of Moses’ birth reminds us that even in times of fear, oppression and uncertainty, God’s purposes can unfold in unexpected ways.

🎵 **Psalm:** Psalm 138
*A song of thanksgiving, trust and praise for God’s faithful love.*

📖 **Second Reading:** Romans 12:1–8
Paul calls us to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, and to recognise the different gifts given to each member of the Body of Christ.

✝️ **Gospel Reading:** Matthew 16:13–20
Jesus asks his disciples, **“Who do you say that I am?”** Peter responds with his confession of faith: **“You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”**

This question is not only for Peter or the first disciples. It continues to speak to each of us today:

**Who is Jesus to us?**

And how does our answer shape the way we live, love, serve and relate to one another?
