What if the good you do… isn’t really for others at all?

It’s possible to do the right thing… and still be driven by the need to be seen.
To be noticed.
To feel like we measure up.

Jesus gently exposes that instinct—not to discourage good, but to reshape our hearts.
He invites us into a life lived before God, not for the approval of others.

This Sunday we explore that together as part of Compassion Sunday—
a chance not just to do something good, but to truly see and love others with the heart of Jesus.

We’ll be gathering as one church family for this special service.

What do you do with hurt that doesn’t seem to go away?

Some things linger.
Words that were said.
Moments that felt unfair.
Situations that were never resolved.
And even when we try to move on, something in us wants things set right.

Jesus doesn’t ignore that instinct—but He does lead us somewhere unexpected with it.
This week we consider what it looks like to let go without pretending nothing happened.

If you’ve been carrying something like that, you’d be very welcome to come.

Why do we hide… even when we want to be known?

Most of us wouldn’t call ourselves dishonest.
But we do manage what others see.
We soften the truth.
We avoid being fully known.
Because honesty can feel risky.

Yet Jesus speaks about truth not as something that traps us—but something that frees us.
This Sunday we explore what it looks like to live honestly before God and others.

If you’ve ever felt the tension between who you are and who you present, you’d be welcome to come and think that through with us.

Why does what promises intimacy… so often leave us feeling more alone?

We’re constantly told to follow our desires—to trust them, to satisfy them, to build our lives around them.
But many of us know from experience that this doesn’t always lead where we hoped.

Instead of connection, we can find ourselves feeling more isolated.
Instead of fulfilment, a little emptier.
Jesus doesn’t dismiss our longing—but He does redirect it.
This week we explore what real intimacy looks like, and where it’s actually found.

If that’s something you’ve wrestled with, you’d be genuinely welcome to come along.

What do you do with anger that keeps rising… even when you wish it wouldn’t?

Most of us don’t think of ourselves as angry people.
But it shows up more than we’d like - in frustration, in tension, in the quiet edge behind our words.

Often it’s not just about what’s happened…
But the expectations we carry - of others, of ourselves, of how life should be.

And when those expectations aren’t met, something in us reacts.

Jesus takes that seriously.
Not just the outward actions… but what’s going on underneath.

And rather than leaving us stuck in it, He invites us into something better - a way of living that is honest, reconciled, and at rest within our limits.

This Sunday we’re exploring: “Learning to Live Without Anger.”

If you’ve ever felt that inner tension - quick reactions, lingering frustration, or things left unresolved - you’d be very welcome to come and sit with us in this. You're most welcome to join us:

Why do we keep saying yes… when everything in us is tired?

Life rarely slows down on its own.

There’s always something to respond to, somewhere to be, something that feels important in the moment.
And before long, we realise we’ve been living at a pace we can’t sustain.

We might get things done… but we lose something along the way.

Jesus invites us into a different way of living - not a less meaningful life, but a less hurried one.

This week we’re exploring what it means to live with intention instead of constant urgency.

If that tension feels familiar, you’d be really welcome to come and sit with us in it.

What if the life you’re chasing… is actually what’s exhausting you?

Most of us don’t stop because life tells us to.
We stop when we’re forced to.

Until then, we keep going—carrying responsibilities, expectations, and quiet pressures that build over time.

And into that kind of life, Jesus speaks a simple but profound invitation:
“Come to me… and I will give you rest.”

Not distraction.
Not escape.
Rest.

This Sunday we begin “Learning to Live Without.”
A series about discovering the gentle rhythms of grace that Jesus invites us into.

If you’ve ever felt like life is full - but something is still missing - you’d be warmly welcome to come and explore that with us.

What if freedom doesn’t come from having more… but from needing less?

Jesus once said,
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

It’s a beautiful promise… but also one that can feel out of reach in the middle of real life.

Because the pressure doesn’t stop.
The responsibilities don’t disappear.
And the noise in our heads doesn’t just switch off.

So what did Jesus actually mean?

Starting this Sunday, in “Learning to Live Without,” we’ll explore what it looks like to follow Him in a world that keeps telling us we need more - more success, more comfort, more control.

And we’ll begin to ask a different question:
What if the life Jesus offers isn’t heavier… but lighter?
