Metro CLW Christian Life Week - Metro Zone More than just a camp! CLW is an uplifting, life changing week full of friends sharing and experiencing God's love.

Meet other high school aged young people who are excited about Jesus and grow together in your faith. Be a part of the empowering Christian atmosphere and have a laugh during the exciting games, learn from each other in small group discussions and join in the awesome times of worship.

We praise Jesus for the special week spent together in fellowship and faith at camp this year and we praise God for the new life He has blessed us with through His one and only Son 🙏 🙌!

DAY 5 🔥✨🙌

Friday was our last day of camp (Awww 😢) but despite the sad part of camp coming to an end, we all made the most of the time we had left singing praises to our Incredible Heavenly Father who has truly blessed this camp in a multitude of ways, Praise Jesus! ✝️🙌

During worship we shared a special experience with the year 12's as we all prayed over them as they enter a new and exciting chapter in their lives, praying for God to bless them all and guide those journeying into leadership roles 🙏🙌. The campers also had the special opportunity to have all the leaders pray over them as they leave this camp space and pray that they may continue to live Alive in Christ as walking testimonies of God's love, and new life for us.

We thank and praise God for the amazing ways he has worked through this camp and we look forward to seeing the amazing ways He continues to work in our lives! 🙏✨

DAY 4 🐛🐞🦋

Today we reflected upon how we can be Alive in Christ beyond camp, living out our faith and following our calling as christians who are made new in Christ who has defeated death! 🙏

We learnt about what it means to wear the virtues of the Holy Spirit and to live out our Christian callings, listening to and trusting in our Heavenly Father's plan for us.

Campers were very excited for the amazing 'A Bugs Life' theme night where we all dressed up and shared a delicious meal together 😋 as our favourite bugs and wildlife.🐞🐛🦋🐜🦋🦟🪲🦗🐌

Afterwards we layered up ❄️ and gathered around a very nice and toasty camp fire 🔥 roasting marshmallows in a peaceful and quiet time of reflection, with open conversations and gentle acoustic praises to God for the amazing ways He has worked through camp this week! 🙏🙌

DAY 3 🕺🙌

Todays theme was 'Feeling Alive' 😃 where we unpacked how we navigate emotions and feelings in faith. 😁😢😠🤯😯 We learnt how Jesus experienced all kinds of emotions and feelings and sets a perfect example of how we can respond to and navigate those feelings in fruitful ways. 🍎🍇🍊

After diving into our bibles 📖 in small groups we took part in a very fun Murder Mystery afternoon out in the beautiful sunshine with our activity groups! 🎊

Today is also a very special day on camp because, Wednesday means..... 🥁 🥁 🥁 Camper led worship!!

Campers spent time in small groups and electives exploring a diverse range of roles to be involved in within worship. 🎤🎹🎶 Campers were really keen to learn and we praise God for their courage in stepping out of their comfort zones. It was such a blessing to see the campers really engaged during this special opportunity and to see God's Spirit working in them.

DAY 2! 🥳🌬️🔥🌿

Campers have had a good first night's sleep and have settled in to camp keen for Day 2! 😴

Today we dived into the word where we focused on how the Holy Spirit fills us giving us life. 🌱🕊️ We learnt how the word 'Spirit' can also be described as wind and breath. We dwelled on the imagery of how breathing gives us life as does the Holy Spirit. Just like with our breath 🌬️ we, we can't just breath out. We also need to breathe in. To be filled again with the breathe that sustains us.

We had a blast jumping into girl/guy time where we set out on adventures down to the beach ⛱️ and some crafty sewing 🪡 and baking 🧑‍🍳 activities all joining together in fellowship! 🙌 We also had the pleasure of welcoming special guest speakers Grant and Janna to share their Missionary and faith journeys. ✝️🙏

We finished off the day with some epic Task Master 💌 games which were filled with many laughs, lollies and fun! 🍬

DAY 1! 🙌🔥

Campers have safely arrived to camp (🚌 🚗 🚁⛵🐪 etc.) ready and eager for an exciting week ahead filled with fun, fellowship and spiritual growth as we dive into our theme of 'Alive' 🙌.

After kicking off camp with some epic welcome games we dived into worship where Pastor Jeremy led us in unpacking the importance of Jesus being Alive!

We're excited for the week ahead and are looking forward to the adventures of Day 2!
