Noarlunga-Seaford Parish evolved from the Christies Beach Parish, originally established in February 1963. It includes the picturesque seaside suburbs of the City of Onkaparinga, 21 kms south of Adelaide. It is part of the Southern Deanery of the Adelaide Archdiocese. The Parish has two Mass Centres - St Luke the Evangelist Church at Noarlunga Downs; and within the Seaford Christian Churches (form

erly Seaford Ecumenical Mission). St Luke's was consecrated on 16 November 1982 by Archbishop James Gleeson and officially opened in 1983. The church is located next to Cardijn College and is adjacent to the Colonnades Shopping Centre and City of Onkaparinga Council offices. Mass is celebrated daily and we have three main weekend Masses - Saturday 6pm, Sunday 9am and 5.30pm.

Aid to the Church in Need is a spiritual and pastoral charity which seeks to keep the flame of faith alive in those places where it is at risk of extinction.

Across the weekend of 22nd and 23rd August, Mary-Anne Maio (pictured below) from ACN will be visiting our community to share about the vital work of ACN and how we can support our suffering and persecuted brothers and sisters. Cash and EFTPOS Available

ACN invites you to learn the stories of persecuted and suffering Christians by signing up to receive the FREE ACN newsletter, so you can begin to stay informed about the needs of the suffering Church and to pray for them.

As a small token of gratitude, those who sign up will also have the opportunity to choose one special gift from ACN, such as a Rosary blessed by the Holy Father, or one of the many other beautiful faith-filled items available.

There's something special about creating with your hands while making a real difference. 🧶☕️

For many years, our dedicated St Luke's Craft Group has lovingly handmade a variety of beautiful items to sell at parish stalls throughout the year. Proceeds from these sales support communities in East Timor and also help with the maintenance of our parish. Their generosity, creativity, and dedication have made a lasting impact.

The group meets weekly during the school term in a welcoming and friendly environment, and everyone is invited to come along, whether you'd like to craft, enjoy good company, or simply support the cause. Men and women are both welcome.

🍽️ Desserts are available to purchase each week (please bring cash).

Come and share in friendship, creativity, and service, one handmade creation at a time.

This weekend at all Masses, we were grateful to hear a clear and informative overview of our parish finances, presented by Dennis McCarthy on behalf of the Parish Finance Committee (PFC).

As part of the PFC's commitment to transparency and accountability, these quarterly updates aim to keep our parish community informed about how parish funds are being managed. They also provide an opportunity for all parishioners to have a voice, share feedback, and contribute ideas on how we can best steward our resources to strengthen the life and mission of our parish.

If you haven't yet had the opportunity to hear this presentation, there's one final chance at the 5:30 pm Mass today. We encourage you to be there and take part in this important update on the life of our parish.
