Gentle Reminder tomorrow

Eucharistic adoration (Sunday 7 June from 10 am to 12 noon) after 9 am Mass

It is a wonderful opportunity to be in the Lord’s presence and to engage in an act of worship of the Eucharist.

We warmly welcome everyone; come one and come all, and please invite others to join us for this meaningful moment.

"Jesus waits for us in this sacrament of love." (Pope John Paul II, Dominicae Canae)

Happy Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

“A great mystery, a mystery of love, an ineffable mystery, before which words must give way to the silence of wonder and worship. A divine mystery that challenges and involves us, because a share in the Trinitarian life was given to us through grace, through the redemptive Incarnation of the Word and the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (St. John Paul II)

He called on the name of the Lord. The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, ‘Lord, Lord, a God of tenderness and compassion, slow to anger, rich in kindness and faithfulness.’ ...

Come and join this Working Bee on Saturday, 30 May 2026, from 8.30am onwards

Every week, a dedicated family or individual quietly takes care of cleaning our church. From time to time, we invite the whole parish to come together for a St Luke’s Church Working Bee to help clean and freshen our parish home.

So here we are, warmly inviting any member of our community, individuals or families, to join us on Saturday, 30 May, from 8.30 am onwards.

This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a community, care for our sacred space, and ensure our church is beautifully prepared for the liturgies. Many hands make light work, and every contribution, big or small, helps. If possible, we encourage you to come as a family.

Tea, coffee, and a light breakfast will be available.

Thank you for helping us care for our parish home. Your presence truly makes a difference.

Last Sunday on Pentecost Sunday at SEM 🙏🔥

What a beautiful and grace-filled day for Joseph as he received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion, welcomed fully into the Catholic Church on the very day we celebrate the birth and birthday of the Church itself.

Congratulations Joseph on this incredibly special milestone in your faith journey! 🕊️ May the Holy Spirit continue to strengthen, inspire, and fill your life with faith, wisdom, peace, and joy.

As the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles at Pentecost, may that same Spirit continue to lead Joseph throughout his journey with Christ.

A truly special moment shared with Fr Tom and our SEM parish family ❤️

We also keep in prayer all those on their own faith journeys, those preparing to receive the Sacraments, those currently journeying through RCIA, and all catechists, sponsors, clergy, and leaders entrusted with guiding and walking alongside others toward Christ. May the Holy Spirit continue to lead, strengthen, and inspire each person with patience, wisdom, and love.

“Receive the Holy Spirit.” — John 20:22
